Questions

Ordering, payment, dispatch and returns, as the shop handles them today.

Do I need an account to order?

Yes for checkout, no for browsing. Anyone can search the aisles and fill a crate. To check out, create an account with your name, email and a password of at least 8 characters with an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter and a digit, or sign in. A crate started before signing in is merged into your account's crate.

How do I pay?

By card, on the Trezuz hosted payment page that checkout sends you to. Card details are entered there; Ohmcrate never sees or stores the card number. The order is confirmed when the card provider confirms the payment.

What happens if the payment fails?

Nothing is charged. The order is marked "Payment failed · nothing charged", its parts go back into your crate and the reserved stock is released. Check out again from the crate when ready.

Which currency are prices in, and is VAT included?

Prices are in euros and include VAT at the rate for the product. The checkout lists the goods, the dispatch fee, the VAT included and the total before you pay.

The EUR | USD switch in the header adds a US dollar figure beside each euro price. It is converted at the European Central Bank reference rate and marked with "≈" as an estimate; the charge is in euros. The current rate is 1 EUR = 1.1204 USD, published Monday 5 October.

I have a promo code. Where do I enter it?

At checkout, in the Pay step: type the code and press Apply. Case does not matter. It takes a whole percentage off the goods before the dispatch fee is worked out, and the summary shows the discount before you pay. If the checkout says the code cannot be used, it is misspelt, switched off or used up.

What does dispatch cost?

Checkout lists the dispatch options and their fees before you pay. Standard dispatch is free over €75.00.

When will my order be dispatched?

Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday. An order paid before the 15:00 EEST cut-off (Cyprus time) on a dispatch day is dispatched the same day when every line is in stock; otherwise it goes on the next dispatch day.

Next dispatch day: Wednesday 7 October.

Does adding a part to the crate hold it?

No. Stock counts come from the shop's stock records when the page loads. Stock is reserved when you place the order and go to the payment page, and released if the payment fails.

Can I order a part that is out of stock?

Only if the part can be backordered: its page then shows "On backorder" with the lead time in days. If you order more than the stock, the crate and checkout state how many are on backorder. In-stock parts are dispatched as usual and backordered parts follow when they arrive. Parts that cannot be backordered are limited to the stock count, up to 50 per line.

Where can I see my order's status?

In your account under Orders. Each order opens a docket with its status (awaiting payment, paid, packed, dispatched, delivered), the parts and amounts, the delivery address and, once dispatched, the carrier and tracking reference. The shop also emails you when the payment is confirmed, when it fails and when the order is dispatched.

Do I get a receipt or invoice with VAT?

Yes. Once the payment is confirmed, the order's docket has a PDF to download. It lists each part, the dispatch fee, the total and the VAT included, with the VAT rate.

Can I return a part?

Yes, within 30 days of delivery if it is unopened and in its original packaging. Opening a faulty part to test it does not prevent its return. How to send a part back is on the returns page.

How do I reach the shop?

See Contact. For an order, give the 12-character order reference shown on the docket.
